The Association has the dual objective of:

1. Promoting the development of organic farming in the agricultural and livestock enterprises, supporting their activities through technical assistance and administrative support, working directly in member companies or in the offices of Coldiretti within which the Association operates.

The technical assistance activities are carried out by the Agency 4A through sending technical notes (specific for the different sectors: horticulture, fruit, wine, cereals and livestock) and / or company visits and mainly concerns:

• the agronomic management of crops;
• the formulation of biological control plans for crops;
• the proper land use;
• interventions for fertilization;
• laboratory analysis of soils, feed, fodder, soil improvers, etc;
• collective purchase of technical means;
• technical advice…..

 

The Association provides economic, administrative and fiscal advice related to all the obligations which the organic farm is subject including:

• economic advice for the management of business relations, the structuring of productive chains;
• technical assistance in phase of the company conversion, through the development of appropriate plans;
• training and information activities (courses, conferences, meetings, publications);
• participation in events and exhibitions of organic agricultural sector of local, national and international importance;
• administrative assistance for all obligations of the company towards the public administration and certification bodies.

2. Enhancing the “bio” production, characterized by a close relationship with the land and obtained in harmony with the seasonal cycles, with the consumers through:

• dissemination activities;
• promotional activities to raise awareness of the "bio" products;
• educational activities;
• education and information campaigns ... ...
